The purpose of this study is to study the diversity, peculiarities of growth and production of biologically active substances of macrophytes of the Baltic Sea ecosystem for the food, feed and nutraceutical industries. The macroalgae of the Baltic Sea are promising raw materials for the production of valuable biologically active compounds, as they are easily reproducible, do not require areas and special resources for accumulation. Significant amounts of algae can be found on the shore (storm emissions), that is, obtained without the cost of their extraction. Isolation of a complex of biologically active substances is the most suitable way to use their potential as antibacterial, antioxidant, anticarcinogenic, anti-inflammatory and hepatoprotective agents. Many of the coastal aquatic plants are available and multiply intensively, forming a significant amount of biomass, which currently has insufficient use in various fields of industry, agriculture, forestry, fish farming, medicine, etc. Macrophytes have high nutritional value and are promising raw materials for the isolation of both nutraceuticals and parapharmaceuticals. It is important to study the potential of duckweed for wastewater treatment, while it can be processed into valuable biomass for animal feed and the production of biologically active substances. The coastal aquatic plant radest has antioxidant activity and antibacterial action against both gram-negative and gram-positive microflora. Macrophyte teloresis is widespread in the Kaliningrad region. The high content of macronutrients such as magnesium, calcium and phosphorus in telorez improves the quality of feed and the efficiency of livestock production. In the future, in-depth research is needed into promising areas of processing biomass of aquatic plants in order to obtain biologically active substances for the food, feed and nutraceutical industries.</p>
В дальнейшем необходимы глубокие исследования перспективных направлений переработки биомассы водных растений с целью получения биологически активных веществ для пищевой, кормовой и нутрицевтической промышленности.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>макроводоросли</kwd><kwd>прибрежно-водные растения</kwd><kwd>рдест</kwd><kwd>ряска</kwd><kwd>телорез</kwd><kwd>биологически активные свойства</kwd><kwd>пищевая промышленность</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>macroalgae</kwd><kwd>coastal aquatic plant</kwd><kwd>asbestos</kwd><kwd>duckweed</kwd><kwd>theloresis</kwd><kwd>biologically active property</kwd><kwd>food industry</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group><funding-statement xml:lang="ru">Работа выполнена в соответствии с утвержденным планом тематик научных исследований ФГБОУ ВО «КГТУ», осуществляемых за счет средств федерального бюджета (бюджетный цикл 2025–2027, регистрационный номер карты ЕГИСУ НИОКТР 1124072300009-1 от 23.07.2024 г.), а также в соответствии с соглашением о предоставлении субсидии из федерального бюджета на финансовое обеспечение выполнения государственного задания на оказание государственных услуг (выполнение работ).</funding-statement><funding-statement xml:lang="en">The work was carried out in accordance with the approved plan of scientific research topics of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education “KSTU”, carried out at the expense of the federal budget (budget cycle 2025–2027, registration number of the EGISU R&amp;D card 1124072300009-1 dated 07/23/2024), the agreement on the provision of subsidies from the federal budget for the financial support of the state assignment for the provision of public services (performance of work).</funding-statement></funding-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Maja, M.M., Ayano, S.F.
